Calvin K. Clemons, CAE, CMP
Cal Clemons is the founder and president of Clemons & Associates, Inc. He
has been in the association management field for 33 years and has held a variety of leadership
positions in business, military and volunteer organizations. Cal is a former member of the
National Association of Wholesaler Distributors’ board of directors. He is acutely aware of the
challenges facing association executives and is an asset to our customers in addressing them.
Cal's Key Accomplishments:
- Past chair of the Association Executives Council of the National Association of Wholesaler-Distributors (NAW).
- Past chair of the Association Management Company Accreditation Commission of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).
- Past chair of the Association Management Company Section of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).
- Earned the designation of Certified Association Executive (CAE) from the American Society of Association Executives.
- Served as president of the Maryland Society of Association Executives (MSAE).
- Served as a director for the International Association of Association Management Companies (now AMCinstitute)
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) as recognized by the Convention Industry Council.
- Earned a master of business administration degree in marketing from Loyola College and a Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Maryland.
- Marketing background includes being a regional sales manager for a national consumer products corporation and serving as vice president of sales for a large regional office products wholesaler in North Carolina.
